Metro Cat Clinic Policies

Appointment Policy

All patients are seen by appointment only. Please arrive at your appointment on time, or 15 minutes prior to your appointment if you are a new client. If for some reason you need to cancel your appointment, please let us know 24 hours in advance, if possible.

Emergency cases will receive top priority, followed by patients with previously scheduled appointments. At times, patients may need to be left at Metro Cat Clinic for further examination, diagnosis and treatment. If your cat is admitted to the clinic, a deposit may be required. All surgeries require a $150.00 deposit at time of booking.

Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety of your cat and the clinic cats, we request that all cats be presented in an appropriate carrier or on a leash. Thank you!

No Show Policy

If you know you will need to cancel an appointment, please call or email us to let us know by noon the day before your appointment.  Last minute appointment cancellations are understandable on an occasional basis.  A Non-Refundable $25 will be required if you have had  2 last-minute cancellations or No-Show appointments.  The $25 will be applied to the kept appointment. For those who continue to be chronic appointment breakers, your next appointment will have to either be as a drop off or a walk-in to be fitted in as scheduling allows.

Payment Options

1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients’ needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.

2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover) as well as checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.

3. CARECREDIT
When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.  Metro Cat Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.  You can either apply at our hospital, where we’ll call in your application over the phone for immediate approval, or apply yourself online at:  www.CareCredit.com.

4. SCRATCHPAY
Another payment plan option is ScratchPay. ScratchPay provides simple and affordable payment plans for pet parents. Checking to see which plan is best for you does not affect your credit, takes just a couple of minutes and can be done from your mobile phone, tablet or computer.

Insurance For Your Pets

If you have pet insurance, payment still must be paid to Metro Cat Clinic at the time of service and you would then file a claim with your pet insurance provider.

Therefore, at no time will any of your information be given out without the explicit written consent of the client.

If you need to have your cat’s records sent to another facility, you can request a fax form by mail, or download the Request For Release Of Medical Records / Information Form from our forms area.
