Cats are different. We took this to heart when we opened Metro Cat Clinic in 1985. Designed from the ground up to cater to our feline friends, our philosophy has always been that cats respond better when they feel secure.
Cat-Specific Care
All of our facilities and equipment are cat-specific. We are up to date on all of the latest feline treatments and stock only medicines that are tailored for cats.
Waiting Room
Since we are a feline-only veterinary clinic, there are no barking dogs to scare your cat. There is comfortable seating, we have the Feliway Phermone plug ins, and an air purifier to minimize new smells. Our goal is to get you and your cat into an exam room as quickly as possible.
Boarding
Our boarding facilities include 6 different sized accommodations that fit the specific needs of your cat(s). Most are located where our cat visitors can see a lot of clinic activity. Not boring. See more info under the Boarding tab
Cat Grooming
We provide a full array of cat grooming services, including claws, trims, and baths rarely needed cats seem to do a pretty good job.) See more information under the Services tab

How To Tell If Your Cat is OK
Cats are the master of hiding their illnesses. The smallest difference in behavior can be a signal that something is amiss.
While a cat with outdoor access is more likely to suffer traumatic injuries, our indoor kitties also suffer from dental issues, grooming problems, parasites, other illnesses and especially problems related to obesity. An annual exam helps catch medical/ behavioral/ nutritional issues before they manifest to a dire medical condition.

Cat Medical
The veterinarians at Metro Cat Clinic strive to keep up to date on all subjects that are Feline related by reading journals, attending local veterinary meetings, watching feline related webinars, and attending annual conferences.

Grooming
MCC offers various grooming services, whether the Persian/Lion cut, remove mats, brush out, potty trail, shave tummy, nail trim, or the occasionally needed bath. For further information, look under the grooming tab.
Boarding
MCC has many boarding options. We have one room that can accommodate 3 cats; 2 smaller rooms and 3 runs that can accommodate up to 2 cats; 8 condos, 4 large cages, and numerous smaller cages that are for one cat. Check out more in depth information under the Boarding tab
